St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Tent Party
The Athletic Club Foundation 2022 40th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Presented by the Hoosier Lottery is Thursday, March 17th at 11:30am. Normally, the festivities start at 9:00am on Parade morning with the Parade Tent and Block Party on North Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania. The street is blocked to vehicle traffic and there is food trucks, sponsor activations and a large heated tent in the American Legion Mall with a beer garden with live entertainment. The event is FREE and open to the public.
The Parade is made up of Irish themed floats and helium balloons, school marching bands, pipe and drum bands, Irish dancers, catholic schools, Irish organizations and local companies and non-profits with St. Patrick’s Day themes. We are always looking for Parade units that have entertainment value, use a St. Patrick's theme and show originality & creativity. Acceptance and participation in the Parade is strictly subject to the discretion of the Parade Committee who reserves the right to reject any application for any reason. The Parade is limited in the number of units.

2022 Parade Registration is Closed
If you would like to register a unit in the 2022 St. Patrick's Day Parade, please follow the steps below.
Parade Registration
1. Organizations are required to fill out an online application for entry into the Parade. The deadline for Parade entry is February 18th.
2. Make sure you read and understand the rules and regulations on the online application. If you have trouble opening the link on the online form you can download the rules and regulations here.
3. Once you submit your application online, the Parade Committee will follow up to tell you if your application was accepted or denied.
4. Once confirmed you will be emailed an invoice for payment which is due by March 1st. You can pay by credit card (PayPal) or by check.
5. The Parade line-up along with Parade unit vehicle passes, bus parking passes, staging & safety instructions & map will be emailed the first week of March.
PARADE VEHICLE REGISTRATION
6. If you plan to have a vehicle in the Parade, the driver(s) must fill out the online vehicle waiver form and submit by March 11th. The limit is one vehicle per unit. If you are a marching unit with no vehicle in the Parade, this step is not necessary.
VIP CAR REGISTRATION
A VIP car is defined as a vehicle that will assist the Parade Committee in driving VIPs and Dignitaries in the Parade. Each VIP car driver will need to register their vehicle through the online VIP Car application. VIP car drivers will be emailed a confirmation packet with staging and safety instructions, Parade vehicle pass and map the first week of March.

2022 Parade Units: Please review the parade vehicle and links below. This information will provide you with important safety information and will provide instruction and directions on for Parade day. Parade marshalling/staging starts at 10:00am on Thursday, Please memorize the parade division you have been assigned, the intersection you will enter the marshalling area and when you should arrive. Tent Party
Welcome to the Indy Public Safety Foundation (IPSF) Tent Party. This is FREE all ages event open to the public taking place the day of the Parade, Thursday, March 17th from 9:00am to 3:00pm on North Street just steps from the Parade starting line at North and Pennsylvania.
Join us before, during or after the Parade for live entertainment on the Hoosier Lottery Imagine That stage featuring a performance by the Celli Band. The tent will be heated if necessary and will have a beer garden inside and outside sponsored by Zink Distributing. We will also have Bud Light, Green Beer & Guinness. Cash and Credit accepted.
Food will be located on North Street close to the tent and we will have a line-up of Indy’s finest food trucks.

10:00am - Eamon Hegarty and Friends “Hoosier Lottery Stage”
11:30am - Official Start of the 40th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Presented by the Hoosier Lottery
12:15pm - Ceili Band “Hoosier Lottery Stage”
1:15am - Irish Citizen of the Year Jane Coffey Elliott honored on stage
2:30pm - 3:00pm - Tent Party closes
Ceili Band - It means “social visit with music” in Irisn. They perform at 12:15pm on the Hoosier Lottery Imagine That stage on North Street.
